Roberto Bolle returns to London for a star-studded one-night ballet gala

Roberto Bolle, one of the world’s most celebrated dancers, is returning to London for a special one-night performance. The show, Roberto Bolle and Friends, will take place at Sadler’s Wells Theatre and feature leading artists from the Royal Ballet. Bolle, who first rose to fame in the city, has described London as a place of deep personal and professional significance.

Bolle’s career began in London over 25 years ago when he performed Swan Lake with the English National Ballet. Since then, he has become a principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre and an étoile at La Scala in Milan. His performances have also graced legendary stages like the Mariinsky Ballet, the Bolshoi Ballet, and the Paris Opera Ballet.

The upcoming show will showcase a mix of ballet, classical, and contemporary pieces. Audiences can expect works such as Caravaggio, Grand Pas Classique, Opus 100, Esmeralda, Two, and In Your Black Eyes. Bolle will be joined by guest stars Melissa Hamilton, Fumi Kaneko, and Vadim Muntagirov, all principal dancers from the Royal Ballet. Over his long career, Bolle has spent more than 200,000 hours dancing. His Roberto Bolle and Friends series has thrived for a quarter of a century, known for its blend of styles and energetic performances. Beyond the stage, he has collaborated with luxury brands like Acqua di Parma, Tod’s, and Bottega Veneta.

The London performance will mark another milestone in Bolle’s illustrious career. With a programme spanning classical and modern dance, the show highlights his enduring appeal and versatility. Tickets are expected to be in high demand for this one-off event at Sadler’s Wells.
