Breaking News: Armed Robbery at Optician's Shop in Siegburg

A violent robbery occurred at an optician's shop in the city centre of Siegburg on September 2nd. According to a report transmitted by the Rhein-Sieg District Police Headquarters, a man, approximately 30 to 40 years old, 1.70 meters tall, with short dark hair, committed the theft.

The incident took place on "Neue Poststraße". The suspect, who was wearing a gray pullover and had a black sports bag on his back, stole four Ray-Ban sunglasses, worth around 700 euros. He also assaulted an employee during the theft.

The stolen sunglasses included three "pilot" models and one with a black plastic frame. The suspect left a briefcase outside the shop, which he had with him.
