In the past few days, several incidents have been reported across various towns in the region, causing damage and confusion. Here's a rundown of the events as they unfolded.
On Saturday evening at around 8:15 PM, an unknown truck driver collided with a local company's fence and a roadside natural stone in Voltstraße, Wolpertshausen. The damage is estimated to be around €1,700, and the driver fled the scene. Two juveniles, who were present at the time, fled from the group when the vehicle owner approached them following the damage.
On Sunday morning at around 7 AM, an unknown person smashed an apartment building window on Wiesenäckerweg in Crailsheim, causing damage estimated to be in the four-figure range. Unfortunately, there is no publicly available information about who broke the window.
Between 2:00 PM and 8:30 PM on Sunday, an unknown vehicle damaged a parked VW Scirocco in Diakoniestraße in Schwäbisch Hall and fled the scene. The damage to the VW is estimated at around €1,000.
On Friday morning, a retail store in Schönebürgstraße in Crailsheim was broken into, and cash and a piggy bank were stolen. The total estimated value of the stolen goods is approximately 2500 euros.
In Crailsheim on Thursday evening, a glass bottle was thrown from an upper floor of a high-rise building on Postplatz, damaging the panoramic roof of a BMW.
On Saturday between 0:50 and 1:20, a Daimler-Benz car in Straße am Nonnensee had its glove compartment and trunk broken into, and a wallet with cash and a laptop bag were stolen.
On Friday around 3:30 PM, a Škoda Octavia and an unknown oncoming vehicle collided in Kohlstraße in Sulzbach-Laufen, with the unknown vehicle fleeing the scene. The damage is estimated at around €500.
On Friday, a 29-year-old man was physically assaulted by an unknown three-person group in the Kornhausstraße / Froschgraben area of Schwäbisch Hall. After witnesses intervened, the unknown perpetrators fled towards the city center.
On Sunday around 2:40 PM, a 31-year-old Škoda driver veered off the road alone on Unterspeltacher Straße in Crailsheim, flipping onto a field. The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. The total material damage is estimated to be in the mid-four-figure range.
On Sunday around 4:15, an Audi A3 car in Königsberger Straße had cash stolen from its glove compartment, as the car was not locked at the time.
Finally, on the K2641 road from Crailsheim to Onolzheim, a car collided with an oncoming BMW's outer mirror due to an unknown driver veering onto the opposite lane. The unknown driver fled the scene without leaving contact information after the collision.
