Avoid consuming food. - Rewe issues meat sausage recall.

The firm OVO Vertriebs-GmbH has hit the brakes and withdrawn the 500g Delikatess chicken sausage from Rewe's private label "ja!" due to quality flaws in the production process.

Here's the rationale: the sausage wasn't heated sufficiently while being made, making it "soft, mushy, and prone to spoiling early," according to an official statement. Out of caution to safeguard consumers, consumption is banned.

Customers will be reimbursed for their purchases

Only sausages with a certain best-before date are impacted:

  • 500g ja! Chicken meat sausage
  • Best Before Date: 04.07.2024
  • Batch: 10722263
  • Manufacturing Time: 8:00 am - 10:00 am

The organization has swiftly reacted and taken the affected goods off the market. Individuals who still possess the product can return it to the shops without a receipt and get their money back.
