Revised Schedule for Shakespeare Gardens
The Shakespeare Garden in Neuss is keeping its community updated on events and happenings related to the garden through a newsletter. Subscribing to this newsletter is free and does not result in spam. To confirm your subscription, check your inbox or spam folder.
The newsletter offers in-depth information about social developments, culinary arts, art, and culture in Neuss. It covers topics such as Caroll Vanwelden's jazz-infused sonnets performance on June 23, Dr. Stefan Schneckenburger's lecture on "Shakespeare's Plant World" on the weekend of June 26/27, and various other events.
For those interested in theatre, the "bremer shakespeare company" will perform "Coriolanus" in the amphitheater on June 30, 2021, at 8:00 PM. Meanwhile, "Macbeth" will be streamed digitally, with two broadcasts on July 1, 2021, at 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, courtesy of The HandleBards. It's important to note that the name of the group performing "Coriolanus" on June 30 is not currently available.
Due to social distancing requirements, the number of available tickets is significantly lower than in previous years. Hygiene measures and contact details must be provided before attending events, as required by the Corona Protection Ordinance.
The Shakespeare Garden program at the Globe Theater in Neuss has undergone changes due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. For the latest information, visit the festival homepage or call the ticket and information hotline at 0231/52699999.
The newsletter also provides details about 45-minute guided tours of the Globe and the Globe Stories audio installation. Subscribers can expect regular updates, although the exact frequency is not specified.
For those who prefer a digital experience, Dr. Vanessa Schormann will give a digital introduction and moderate a Q&A session before each stream. Introductions with Vanessa Schormann and members of the ensembles will take place one hour before the start of each performance.
