Revised Look at Quarken 35 T-Top: Design Mirrors Pilothouse Layout, Airy Open-Concept
New Quarken 35 T-Top Boat Unveiled
The marine industry is abuzz with excitement as Quarken, a renowned manufacturer of innovative amphibious and recreational boats, prepares to unveil its latest creation at the upcoming Cannes Boat Show in September. The Quarken 35 T-Top boat is a new variant of the flagship Quarken 35, promising an unparalleled boating experience.
The Quarken 35 T-Top boat boasts an open-plan layout, much like its counterpart, but with a few notable differences. The primary entertaining zone extends further aft and integrates with a bench seat at the leading edge of a large cockpit sunbed, providing ample space for relaxation and socialising. Two-man seats built into the bulwarks on both sides increase the sociability of the aft cockpit, making it an ideal spot for gatherings.
The lower deck of the Quarken 35 T-Top boat is identical to that of the Quarken 35 Cabin, featuring an open-plan forward owner's cabin, a port heads compartment, and a starboard bench that can be used as an extra guest berth. The bench can also be rigged as a bed, offering versatility for different needs.
The deck furniture of the Quarken 35 T-Top boat resembles that of the pilothouse arrangement, offering a comfortable and functional space for the helmsman and passengers. A fore-and-aft galley to port and a raised dining station opposite the twin helm ensure that meals on board are a pleasure.
As for speed, the Quarken 35 T-Top boat can reach a top speed of 45 knots, making it a swift and agile vessel. The specifications include a LOA of 35ft 0in (10.68m), a Beam of 11ft 5in (3.48m), and twin Yamaha F300 outboards.
On the other hand, the Frauscher 1414 Demon, designed and built in Finland using vacuum infusion and a twin-stepped hull for maximum cruising efficiency, is expected to have speeds in the region of 45 knots. This sleek boat is designed for weekending couples and features an open-plan layout, with a three-person lounger at the bow and a broad step-through forepeak that can serve as an additional five-person bow lounge.
The Frauscher 1414 Demon will come with a pair of Yamaha's 4.2L V6 300hp outboards, ensuring a powerful and smooth ride. The boat's deck furniture is yet to be fully detailed, but it's clear that no expense has been spared in creating a luxurious and functional space.
