In an unexpected turn of events, Germany's renowned punk rock act, The Donots, have been confirmed as the headliner for the 2025 Lower Saxony Day. This announcement follows Mando Diao's cancellation due to personal reasons.

Originally scheduled to perform after Mando Diao, The Donots, based in Ibbenbüren, Germany, are known for their unbridled energy and strong connection to the Osnabrück region. Their performance on the Osna-Stage, powered by Sparkasse Osnabrück, promises to be an unforgettable evening for many visitors.

The Osna-Stage is a significant part of Lower Saxony Day, a festival that showcases the best of the region's culture, music, and entertainment. Calvin Siemers, event director of the 2025 Lower Saxony Day and head of the City-Events department at Marketing Osnabrück GmbH, has stated that The Donots' performance will be a highlight of the Lower Saxony Day.

The Donots have captivated audiences with hits like "So Long", "Stop The Clocks", and "Augen sehen". Their music, a blend of punk rock and pop-punk, is sure to get the crowd moving.

Mando Diao, in a message on their social media channels, thanked their fans for their support and expressed their regret at having to cancel their performance. Marketing Osnabrück GmbH also confirmed the cancellation, citing personal reasons.

Despite Mando Diao's absence, all other program points remain unchanged. The performance by The Donots will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 9:30 PM.
