On August 27, 2025, at around 2 PM, an incident occurred on Reichsstraße in Gera. According to reports, the incident involved a heavily intoxicated man causing a disturbance and throwing trash cans.

The man, aged 36, was German and was identified as the culprit. Before his arrest, he threw a trash can at a car, causing significant property damage. The victim of the car damage was a 54-year-old individual. The property damage is estimated to be in the four-figure range.
