Seven people sustain injuries. - Resident Leaps Off Balcony Post-Fire Incident

A man (41) from an apartment in Bauerweg, Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, is believed to have started a fire. This incident caused a dire situation as people began to call for help, including those trapped with their children in smoke-filled apartments. The Porsche plant fire department arrived on the scene to find flames coming out of the apartment, which had already spread to the one above. The spokesman, Daniel Anand (36), remarked that the apartment's door had been burned through.

An elderly person lived in mortal fear and jumped from the balcony due to the intense heat and thick smoke, sustaining injuries on the floor. There were other individuals who were close to jumping from the upper floors. Thus, the firefighters quickly set up a jumping cushion to prevent any more injuries or accidents.

Seven other residents were saved by the fire department and all eight of them were taken to the hospital due to suspected smoke inhalation. The fire was put out after approximately 25 minutes. Unfortunately, the damage to the building was extensive, with six apartments considered unliveable for the present. The damage to the property is estimated to be more than 200,000 euros.
