Report update on: "Sexual harassment claims against a 27-year-old at the Freiburg-Betzenhausen swimming area involving several underage swimmers"
In a recent incident that took place on Saturday, 28th June 2025, a 27-year-old man was alleged to have sexually harassed several teenage swimmers at the Flückigersee in Freiburg.
According to reports, a witness called the police at 7 p.m. on the day of the incident, stating that a group of men were harassing girls in the lake. The police were able to arrest a suspect at the scene.
The suspect, who is being investigated, is said to have inappropriately touched three identified teenagers. The investigation is ongoing to determine if other persons were involved in the crime.

Following initial witness interviews, investigators currently believe that one suspect is involved in the incident. No other victims have been identified so far. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward to help in the ongoing investigation.
