The state road and transportation authority, Hessen Mobil, has announced a closure on the B 49 between the Bergwerkswald junction and the exit to Kleinlinden due to necessary repair work. The closure will commence on Friday, March 15, at approximately 8 pm and is expected to last for approximately 72 hours, ending on Monday, March 18, around 5 am.
During this period, the B 49 will be closed in the direction of Wetzlar. Traffic in this direction will be rerouted via the A 485 and A 45 to the Wetzlar-Ost junction. The repair work will involve the renewal of approximately 1,375 square meters of asphalt.
Hessen Mobil is responsible for planning, construction, and maintenance of federal and state roads, including the road construction on the B 49 between Bergwerkswald junction and Kleinlinden exit. The repair work will be done in the direction of Wetzlar.
