Reorganization in leadership at Ultimate Products as originator assumes fresh position
In an exciting development, Ultimate Products, a Greater Manchester-based manufacturing firm known for owning historic UK homeware brands such as Salter and Beldray, has announced a series of promotions within its operating board, elevating five members to C-suite positions.
David Bloomfield has been appointed as the new Chief Supply Chain Officer, while Katie Maxwell takes on the role of Chief Product Officer. Craig Holden steps into the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Tracy Carroll becomes the CMO (Chief Marketing Officer). Duncan Singleton, previously a key figure in the company, is now the Chief Commercial Officer.
The promotions, according to Simon Showman, the founder and former CEO of Ultimate Products, illustrate the group's ability to offer career progression across all functions. Showman, who will continue to play an important role in the business, will focus on European operations and product development. He will also take up the role of president and founder.
Andrew Gossage, the current CEO, will continue to receive Showman's full support in pursuing long-term growth ambitions. Gossage expressed satisfaction with the promotions of the group of individuals to C-suite roles.
Showman and Gossage were listed on the Northern Leaders list for 2024 at Ultimate Products. This recognition underscores the company's commitment to leadership and innovation.
It's worth noting that there has been a shutdown of Ultimate Products' Silicon Valley arm due to potential serious misconduct. The company is currently addressing this issue and remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct.
Ultimate Products sources, designs, develops, and distributes branded kitchen and laundry products, which are sold to over 300 retailers and online platforms in 45 countries. Showman is proud that Ultimate Products has become a place for talent to progress from junior to senior leadership positions.
In a statement, Showman expressed his excitement about the future of Ultimate Products, saying, "We have a talented team, and these promotions are a testament to their hard work and dedication. I am confident that under the leadership of our new C-suite, we will continue to grow and innovate in the homeware industry."
These changes mark an exciting new chapter for Ultimate Products, as the company continues to expand its reach and influence in the global market.
