Renovated Accommodation Complex at Rotebühlplatz Now Open
In the heart of Stuttgart, the city is witnessing a significant change as the Aparthotel Numa, a major player in the hotel industry, prepares to open its doors at Rotebühlplatz.
The site, previously home to the Fritty Bar, has been vacant since 2022, but now, a new white building stands tall, ready to house the Aparthotel Numa. A sign for the burger chain "Burgermeister," already present at 20 locations across Germany, adorns the facade, hinting at a potential collaboration. However, the opening of the burger chain is yet to be confirmed.
Founded by Boris Walker, Numa is a company that sees itself as a technology company operating in the hotel industry. The company automates as many processes as possible and keeps the entire value chain in its own hands, ensuring efficiency and quality. This approach has led to a record year for Numa, with over one million overnight stays and an increase in revenue of more than 100% compared to the previous year.
The Aparthotel Numa is designed for guests who want to stay in Stuttgart for a longer period and are looking for a "temporary home." Each of the 82 apartments, around 22 square meters in size, will be equipped with a kitchenette, creating a living room atmosphere. The interiors will feature warm colors, mustard yellow walls, wooden paneling, a small kitchen, a bed, and a blue sofa.
Numa's CEO, Christian Gaiser, stated that Numa starts where Airbnb stops. Bookings for the aparthotel are not yet possible via online portals, and prices have not yet been set. However, in Munich, prices for similar apartments at the Aparthotel Numa range from 53 to 85 euros per night, depending on the location.
Stuttgart joins the list of cities where the Aparthotel Numa is present, following major cities like Berlin, Munich, Barcelona, and Rome. With plans for further growth in Germany and abroad by 2025, it seems that the Aparthotel Numa is set to make a significant impact in the hotel industry.
Meanwhile, the Keller-Klub, a popular nightlife spot, no longer exists at the intersection of Kronprinzenstraße and Rotebühlplatz. As the city continues to evolve, the arrival of the Aparthotel Numa marks a new chapter in Stuttgart's vibrant history. The Aparthotel Numa is set to open likely by the end of September to early October, and Stuttgart residents and visitors alike eagerly await its arrival.
