High-Speed Car Chase in Weimar: Police Pursuit Unsuccessful
A high-speed car chase took place in Weimar on Tuesday night, as local police attempted to stop a Renault car on Belvederer Allee. According to initial investigations, the driver of the vehicle may have been the 44-year-old registered owner.
The police reported that they attempted to pull over the driver near the entrance to Zum Ziegelgraben, but the driver sped off when an officer approached. A pursuit ensued, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. The driver fled the scene at speeds exceeding 150 km/h.
