Relocating its base: UFA shifts its headquarters from Potsdam to Berlin, at BE.YOND OFFICE Berlin

In the heart of western Berlin, a new office space is taking shape, set to become another major location in the city's bustling centre. The BE.YOND OFFICE Berlin, scheduled to open in 2026, will be developed by the Empira Group, taking over from Soravia.

The architecture for this innovative office building is the brainchild of Henn, an acclaimed office of design. The structure will boast a natural stone facade and light-flooded communication zones, creating a modern and inviting atmosphere.

At the core of the project's design is sustainability. BE.YOND OFFICE Berlin will operate fossil-free, utilising air-source heat pumps and a photovoltaic system. This eco-friendly approach aligns with the growing global emphasis on reducing carbon emissions and promoting renewable energy.

The building will offer a variety of workspaces, each level accommodating up to 1,241 square meters. This versatile design allows for individual or combination offices, open work landscapes, or mixed forms, catering to diverse work styles.

In addition to traditional workspaces, BE.YOND OFFICE Berlin will feature two rooftop terraces totalling 251 square meters. These outdoor spaces can be used for informal meetings, networking events, or simply as a place for employees to take a break and enjoy the fresh air.

Green retreat areas are also incorporated into the design, providing a tranquil oasis within the urban environment. These spaces will offer a welcome respite for those seeking a moment of peace amidst the hustle and bustle of the office.

The upper floors of the building will also offer outdoor areas in addition to workspaces, further enhancing the connection between the indoor and outdoor environments.

Approximately 730 square meters of flexibly usable space is designated for common and reception areas, ensuring a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere.

Media company UFA has already scheduled to occupy new spaces at BE.YOND OFFICE Berlin in 2026. This move will not only contribute to the building's vibrant atmosphere but also solidify its position as a significant office location in western Berlin.

With its focus on sustainability, versatile workspaces, and outdoor areas, BE.YOND OFFICE Berlin is set to redefine the modern office experience.
