Rejected Boston College applicants find solace in new support group offered by Holy Cross

In the vibrant campus of Holy Cross College, this week has been filled with a mix of excitement and intrigue.

The office of admissions has announced the creation of a support group for those who were rejected from Boston College (BC). Known as BC rejects, these individuals often express regret about not getting into BC and frequently mention the college in their comments, which often include assertions about Holy Cross being a safety school or a less cool version of BC.

The support group, open to any BC rejects, promises a welcoming environment, particularly for those whose grandparents donated a building to BC but were still not admitted. The meetings will be held in the football stadium and will offer refreshments, including maroon and purple cookies. A special event is also planned where BC rejects can throw their rejection letters into the fire pits on the Hoval.

Meanwhile, the Classics department finds itself in some disarray due to a revelation about Dr. Fauci. Contrary to popular belief, Dr. Fauci is not a Classics major, but an econ major. This unexpected twist has left some professors scratching their heads.

On a lighter note, the Environmental Studies Department has declared a state of emergency due to an abnormal amount of Lucky Charms litter on campus. It seems that the beloved cereal has caused quite an ecological disaster at Holy Cross.

In other news, the Halloween activities at Holy Cross are listed in a guide, compiled by Emma Hatem '27 and Tyler Brackett '27. The guide includes a variety of activities, with one named "Eggplant". The authors of the article about Dr. Fauci are also Tyler Brackett and Emma Hatem '27.

As the week comes to a close, the Holy Cross community continues to navigate these interesting developments with a spirit of resilience and camaraderie.
