Regulation of Traffic Flows on Highways L755 and L637 (Political update)
In the city of Paderborn, the local police have been actively enforcing traffic regulations to ensure the safety of its residents and visitors. On April 6th, speed and passage controls were conducted on the L755 (Bollerbornstraße) between Altenbeken and Langeland, as well as on April 11th on the L637 and L755.
During the controls on April 6th, the police detected several violations. A 49-year-old Opel driver from Höxter was stopped due to suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving without a license. As a result, the individual now faces charges for both offences.
Eleven motorcyclists were also found to have disregarded the passage ban on the L755, which has been in effect since April 1st between 12:00 PM and 10:00 PM. These motorcyclists received appropriate fines for their actions.
On April 11th, the focus of the controls shifted to the L637 and L755. On the L637, the police detected eight speed violations, including a motorcycle rider who was measured at 31 kilometers per hour over the permitted 100. This individual now faces a fine of 200 euros and a point in Flensburg.
On the L755, the police detected 14 speed violations, including motorcyclists who had already driven over the L755 before the ban and car drivers.
