Refurbished Playground in Malges - City Spends 15,000 Euros on New Playground Apparatus

In the heart of Malges, a vibrant transformation has taken place. The local council, led by Mayor Benjamin Tschesnok, has unveiled a renovated playground, an investment they believe is crucial for the community's future, particularly its children.

The playground, now adorned with new equipment, including a thrilling zip line, was made possible through the collective effort of various local entities and residents. The Konrad-Zuse School, under the guidance of former principal Susanne Diegelmann and Alexander Bläcker, built the seating area as a prototype. Their students were actively involved in the project, showcasing a spirit of collaboration and community engagement.

The school also contributed to the playground's seating area by financing the materials. Local community members, eager to be a part of this exciting project, lent a helping hand in its construction. This collaborative spirit was also reflected in the financial contributions, with "Fun Families" from Malges donating money for the renovation, and Theo Brähler generously donating a mini nest swing.

The city of Hünfeld also played a significant role in the renovation, investing approximately 15,000 euros in new play equipment. Norbert Quanz, the local council chairman, welcomed guests and expressed his gratitude to the city of Hünfeld for their support. Councilwoman Karin Grosch from Malges facilitated the connection between the Malges residents and the school, ensuring a smooth and successful collaboration.

The double swing, once a popular feature in the playground, has been replaced during the renovation. The celebration of this new playground included coffee, cake, and sausages, bringing together the community to celebrate this milestone. The local council, along with Mayor Benjamin Tschesnok, officially handed over the renovated playground to the children of Malges, marking a new era of play and community spirit in the town.
