In the charming Sprendlingen district of Dreieich, the Platz am Alten Rathaus has undergone a significant makeover, transforming it into an inviting outdoor space for locals and visitors alike. This redesign is part of the ongoing development of the area, which includes the construction of an outdoor area for an ice cream parlor.

The redesign process was a participatory one, allowing the citizens of Dreieich to contribute their ideas. After considering three variants presented by a planning office, the residents chose the "Classical" design in an online survey. Mayor Martin Burlon is delighted with the successful redesign of the square, stating that it is expected to be a new attraction in Sprendlingen, especially in the summer.
