RED Digital Cinema is set to showcase their Cine-Broadcast Module at the IBC2025 event.

RED Digital Cinema is set to make a splash at IBC2025 with the unveiling of its latest offerings: the RED V-RAPTOR [X] and KOMODO-X, along with the innovative Cine-Broadcast Module.

The RED V-RAPTOR [X] and KOMODO-X will be showcased at RED's stand on the IBC exhibition floor, Stand 11.C20A. These cutting-edge cameras, including the groundbreaking Cine-Broadcast Module, are making their premiere at the event.

The Cine-Broadcast Module, a key highlight, is connected via a LEMO SMPTE 311M/304M hybrid fiber optical cable connector. This integration allows for advanced features such as slow motion, AI/ML enhancements, and real-time 8K 120fps R3D streaming.

The RED V-RAPTOR [X] offers unmatched low-light performance, dynamic range, resolution, high frame rates, and an 8K VV global shutter large-format sensor. It uses 12G-SDI and IP-broadcast compliant with SMPTE ST 2110 (TR-08).

On the other hand, the RED KOMODO-X, with dimensions of 4x4x5 inches and a weight of 2.6 lbs, features a 6K S35 global shutter sensor and frame rates at 6K 80P and 4K 120P.

The Cine-Broadcast Module supports live broadcasting of up to two channels of 4K 60P (HDR/SDR). This latest functionality is available as a firmware update for RED's V-RAPTOR XL and V-RAPTOR cameras.

The RED V-RAPTOR [X] and KOMODO-X integrate seamlessly with EVS' XT-VIA live production server, allowing for super-slow-motion capabilities. This integration is powered by the license-enabled RED Connect feature, which enables IP live streaming of R3Ds for the RED V-RAPTOR [X] and KOMODO-X.

RED will also demonstrate its advanced broadcast color pipeline for live painting of RED cameras at IBC2025. The Cine-Broadcast Module, previously mentioned, is also being showcased at the event.
