In an exciting turn of events, hip-hop and country music artist Shaboozey has made history with his latest single, "Good News." The track, which blends pop, country, and hip-hop, has become a winner at country radio, climbing to the top spot on the Country Airplay chart.

"Good News" started its journey on the Country Airplay chart back in February and has taken 31 weeks to reach the coveted No. 1 position. This marks Shaboozey's second number-one hit on the Country Airplay charts, following the success of his breakout hit "A Bar Song (Tipsy)," which spent seven weeks at No. 1.

Shaboozey's latest achievement sees him replacing Thomas Rhett atop the Country Airplay chart. Meanwhile, Rhett's "After All the Bars Are Closed" has fallen from No. 1 to No. 3.

The rise of "Good News" has not been a solitary event. Another notable track, "Backup Plan" by Bailey Zimmerman and Luke Combs, has advanced to a new high of No. 2 on the Country Airplay chart. However, it's Combs who has made a double triumph, as he was also the person who made "Good News" his second number-one hit on the Country Airplay charts.

"Good News" has also made a significant impact on other charts. It has returned to its best showing on the Adult Pop Airplay list, matching its previous peak at No. 5. On the all-genre Radio Songs ranking, the track holds steady at its all-time high runner-up position.

Moreover, "Good News" has made a new peak on the Adult Contemporary chart, moving up to No. 16. Previously, Shaboozey's "Highway" peaked at No. 49 on the same chart, and his collaboration with Jelly Roll, "Amen," peaked at No. 54 on the Country Airplay chart.

As Shaboozey celebrates this impressive milestone, it's clear that his unique blend of genres continues to resonate with listeners across the country. With "Good News" dominating the airwaves, it seems the future is looking bright for the talented artist.
