Rain persists through Friday
On the horizon, Kazakhstan is set to experience a shift in weather conditions next week, with cooler temperatures and calmer winds predicted.
Starting from Thursday, September 11, the country will witness a series of rainy and cooler days, particularly in cities such as Shymkent, Almaty, and Karagandy. These cities are commonly affected by regional weather patterns that bring such conditions.
Thursday will see daytime temperatures reaching +13 to +15°C, accompanied by intermittent rain, thunderstorms, and hail, and gusty winds that will strengthen to 15-20 m/s. Overnight, temperatures will hover around +8 to +10°C, with the possibility of rain and thunderstorms.
However, the weather is expected to take a turn for the better on Friday, September 12. Daytime temperatures will still reach a pleasant +13 to +15°C, but with variable cloudiness instead of rain. The northwesterly wind will decrease significantly, dropping to 5-10 m/s. Overnight temperatures will cool down slightly to +6 to +8°C.
In a welcome relief, no rain is expected on Friday, and the wind speeds will remain moderate, making for a more comfortable and enjoyable day.
So, as we move through the week, remember to stay warm and dry on Thursday, and enjoy the milder, calmer weather on Friday. Keep a weather eye out for any updates and stay safe!
