Rail journey to Haner Fair

In a significant development for public transportation in Haan and its surrounding areas, several bus routes will undergo changes from September 19, 4 AM, to September 25, around 3 PM. Here's a breakdown of the changes affecting lines 742, 784, 786, 792, O1, and DL5.

Line 742

  • In the direction of Carl-Barth-Straße, the bus will take a detour from the "Haan, Krankenhaus" stop.
  • In the direction of Mettmann, Jubiläumsplatz, the line will take a detour from the "Horststraße" stop.
  • The service frequency will be reduced to every 60 minutes until 1 AM on all fair days.
  • However, on Saturdays and Sundays from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., the line will run every 15 minutes, with GuteNachtLinien (night lines) operating every 30 minutes until 4:45 a.m. Regular lines are expected to stop around 10:45 p.m., and only night lines will continue thereafter.
  • On Saturdays and Sundays from 2 PM to midnight, additional trips will be offered between "Benrath S" and "Wuppertal, Vohwinkel Bf".

Line 784

  • The "Robert-Koch-Straße" stop will be skipped; use "Nordstraße" instead.
  • The line will take detours from the "Stöcken" stop in the direction of Wuppertal, Vohwinkel and Rheinische Straße, and from the "Nordstraße" stop in the direction of Düsseldorf and Hilden Süd.
  • Additional trips will be offered on Saturday and Sunday from 2 PM to midnight between "Benrath S" and "Wuppertal, Vohwinkel Bf".

Line 792

  • The "Diekerstraße" and "Böttingerstraße" stops will be discontinued; use "Haan, Bahnhof" instead.
  • The "Haan, Stadtbad" stop towards Hulsberger Busch and Solingen Hauptbahnhof is relocated to "Lessingstraße".
  • The "Feldstraße" stop is relocated to Feldstraße before the roundabout.
  • The "Haan, Markt" stop in the same direction will be moved to Kirchstraße, in front of house number 36.
  • The "Düppelstraße" stop is relocated to "Düppelstraße" in the direction of Sinterstraße and Robert-Koch-Straße.
  • Line E792 buses towards Robert-Koch-Straße are diverted from "Haan Bahnhof", and towards Solingen Hauptbahnhof from the arrival stop "Robert-Koch-Straße".
  • Line 792 buses are diverted towards Sinterstraße and Robert-Koch-Straße from the "Windhövel" stop, and towards Hulsberger Busch and Solingen Hauptbahnhof from the "Nordstraße" stop.
  • The "Haan, Markt" and "Windhövel" stops for line O1 towards Haan, Markt on Schillerstraße are relocated to "Windhövel".
  • Line 792 buses operate every 15 minutes between "Solingen Hauptbahnhof" and "Haan, Windhövel" on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
  • The "Robert-Koch-Straße" stop for line 784 will be skipped; use "Nordstraße" instead.
  • The "Windhövel" stop in the direction of Haan, Stadtbad for lines 742, 784, 786, 792, O1, and DL5 will be moved to Breidenhofer Straße, between house numbers 4 and 6.

Line O1

  • The "Haan, Markt" and "Windhövel" stops for line O1 towards Haan, Markt on Schillerstraße are relocated to "Windhövel".

Line DL5
