The German Football Association (DFB) shared a video on Instagram featuring presenter Günther Jauch on Wednesday morning. In his signature style from "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," he asked, "Alright, here comes the 500-euro question. Who's part of the current German national soccer team? Options: A) Short, B) Tall, C) Large, D) Thin. This is just a five-euro question, lads." But things weren't that straightforward.
It could be Pascal Groß (32), a midfielder for Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League. He's made five appearances for the national team and made his debut in September 2023.
Germany's coach, Julian Nagelsmann, will reveal the final squad, likely with 26 or 27 players, on Thursday at 1pm in Berlin.
