Quectel unveils a multi-functional 3-in-1 antenna system, accommodating 4G, Wi-Fi, and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) connectivity
Quectel Wireless Solutions, a global provider of IoT and automotive connectivity solutions, is set to exhibit at Electronica Munich 2024 in Hall B6, booth number 241. This year's event promises to be a showcase of the latest innovations in the electronics industry.
At the event, Quectel will showcase two new combo antennas: the YEMD301L1A and the YEMD302L1A. These antennas, designed by Kathrein, are built for great flexibility and selection of network technologies.
The YEMD301L1A is designed for use in harsh outdoor environments and is IP67 rated, ensuring it can withstand dust and water ingress. It also boasts UV resistance and a UL 94 V-0 Flame Rating for its enclosure. This model provides a 2-in-1 customisation option, allowing for configurations like dual 4G or a combination of 4G and Wi-Fi 7, along with customisable cable lengths and a variety of connector types.
On the other hand, the YEMD302L1A is designed for use cases in public safety, high-definition video streaming, smart cities, utilities, fleet management, and automotive vehicle tracking. This 3-in-1 combo antenna offers magnetic, adhesive, or screw mounts for versatile installation options. It supports a broad frequency range for reliable 4G coverage, including 700-960 MHz and 1710-2690 MHz bands. Additionally, it is compatible with multiple satellite positioning systems, including GPS, BeiDou, and GLONASS, and supports the 1565-1606 MHz GNSS frequency band for precise navigation. Its Wi-Fi frequency coverage ranges from 2400-2500 MHz, 5150-5850 MHz, and 5925-7125 MHz.
Quectel's antenna design services can ensure devices perform optimally and are pre-integrated with the module. Detailed testing and reports are provided to help achieve certification and network approval. Experienced Quectel engineers also provide bespoke antenna design for high-performance wireless networking.
