QQMedia Wins Golden Boomerang League with Influencer-Driven Sports Traffic Strategy
The Golden Boomerang League, Boomerang Partners’ first affiliate tournament for sports traffic, wrapped up on 31 October 2023. Winners were announced at SiGMA Central Europe in Rome on 4 November, with QQMedia taking the top prize and a direct entry to the 2026 Golden Boomerang Awards.
The event also saw Apex Media and Luis Xavier earn special rewards, including AC Milan Experience packages.
Boomerang Partners organised the Golden Boomerang League as their debut sports-focused affiliate competition. The tournament concluded on 31 October 2023, with final results revealed at SiGMA Central Europe in Rome four days later.
QQMedia claimed first place thanks to their unique approach to driving sports traffic. Their strategy centred on influencer marketing, which set them apart from competitors. As the winner, the company secured a direct ticket to the Golden Boomerang Awards 2026 and plans to form an exclusive partnership in 2026 to maximise a single brand’s reach.
Apex Media also performed strongly, earning a prize that included the AC Milan Experience package. The company now aims to expand globally and diversify its sports operations following this success. Meanwhile, individual participant Luis Xavier was awarded the same AC Milan Experience for his performance.
Boomerang Partners used the event to reinforce their ambition of becoming the top sports affiliate programme in the industry. Their focus remains on growing their network and strengthening their position in the market.
