Putin Hits Vladivostok: Arrives in the City

Russian President Vladimir Putin has concluded a four-day visit to China, marking the end of a trip that saw the signing of 22 documents covering a wide range of cooperation between the two countries. The visit concluded on August 31, with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi seeing off Putin at Beijing's Shoudu Airport. Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov was also present at Putin's departure.

During his stay in China, Putin and Chinese leaders held discussions on various matters, but details about the context of these discussions were not provided. The visit was, however, deemed successful by Putin, who positively assessed the results.

Following his departure from China, Putin traveled to the Eastern Economic Forum (VEF) in Vladivostok. On September 5, a plenary session with Putin's participation is scheduled for the forum. The VEF, an annual event, aims to boost economic cooperation between Russia and other Asian countries.

In addition to the VEF, Putin also had a scheduled meeting with Oleg Kojemjako, Governor of Primorsky Krai, on August 29. The purpose and outcomes of this meeting were not detailed in the available information.

As the Eastern Economic Forum approaches, Putin's participation is expected to draw significant attention, given the ongoing economic and political discussions between Russia and its Asian neighbours.
