Pure Poker Tour 2026 Main Event starts March 6 with flexible entry rules
The Pure Poker Tour's first No-Limit Hold'em Main Event of 2026 kicks off on March 6 at 1 PM. Players will compete for a shot at the title, with registration open until late in the evening and flexible rules for multiple entries.
Each participant begins with 40,000 chips, and the blinds increase every 40 minutes. Registration for Day 1 stays open for nine levels, closing at 8:15 PM. This gives late arrivals a chance to join before the field narrows.
Day 1 continues until only 12.5% of the starting players remain. All who survive this cut will secure a payout. A unique rule allows players to register for both Day 1a and Day 1b, with only their largest stack advancing to Day 2. Pav Braich enters the tournament aiming for his third straight Main Event win. Only Eric Wasylenko has achieved this feat before. As of March 15, no official figures on total entries or Day 1A payouts have been released.
The event's structure offers flexibility for players to build their stacks across multiple starting days. Braich's bid for a historic three-peat adds extra interest to the competition. Organisers have yet to disclose participation numbers or prize details.
