Puerto Rican Ad Campaign Wins Grand LIA for Life-Saving Medication Labels

A Puerto Rican advertising campaign has taken the top prize at the 2025 London International Awards. Glowing Relief, created by Dela Cruz Ogilvy, won the Grand LIA in the Pharma & Medical category. The initiative focuses on improving medication safety for vulnerable patients in the region.

The campaign introduces glow-in-the-dark labels for prescription bottles. These labels help elderly and visually impaired patients identify their medicines, even during blackouts. Power outages in Puerto Rico can disrupt access to lighting, increasing the risk of medication errors.

At the awards ceremony, the jury—led by Lauren Naima, EVP and Executive Creative Director of Eversana Intouch New York—honoured multiple entries. In total, they awarded six Gold, eight Silver, and eight Bronze statues, along with seven Finalist recognitions. *Glowing Relief* stood out as the Grand LIA winner in its field. No prior public records mention an initiative by this name or its impact on patient safety. The campaign's innovative approach addresses a specific need in Puerto Rico's healthcare system.

The win highlights the role of creative solutions in medical safety. The glow-in-the-dark labels aim to reduce errors for those who struggle with visibility. The London International Awards jury recognised the campaign's practical impact on patient care.
