Public transport costs in Krasnodar Territory are set to decrease by 8 rubles.
The national payment system, Mir, has announced a cost reduction initiative that will benefit residents of the Krasnodar region. From September 1, 2023, passengers using public transport in the region will enjoy a discount of 8 rubles per trip.
To take advantage of this offer, a special app is required for smartphone payments. The discount applies directly at the time of payment, and the receipt may show the full price, but the actual amount deducted will be less.
The savings for residents are expected to be substantial, with over 130 million rubles already saved through similar actions in various areas of Kuban. The cost reduction is a temporary measure, lasting for a year, and will end on December 31, 2023.
The payment system, Mir, will compensate the difference to the carriers, ensuring that public transport fares in the Krasnodar region will decrease by 8 rubles. The ticket price remains the same (from 30 to 55 rubles), but passengers will pay 8 rubles less.
The discount applies to all municipal districts in the Krasnodar region, making travel more affordable for everyone. It's important to note that the initiative does not specify any conditions for the smartphone payment method, making it accessible to all.
This is not the first time such actions have taken place in the Krasnodar region. Similar cost reductions have been implemented in various areas of Kuban, demonstrating a commitment to improving public transport affordability.
Residents are encouraged to download the necessary app and start enjoying the savings from September 1, 2023. This discount is not cashback; it is applied directly at the time of payment, making travel in the Krasnodar region more affordable for everyone.
