Last weekend, the police set up checkpoints on Federal Highway 317 in the Todtnau area and between Todtnau and Zell im Wiesental. A total of 35 motorcycles were checked during the operation, with two motorcycle riders reported for passing in a no-passing zone.

Simultaneously, the police conducted motorcycle checks in the Lörrach district. Fifteen cars were also checked during the operation, and a total of 18 drivers were cited for speeding, including 14 car drivers.
