Proposal Invitation for a Women's Vocational Training Hub in the Black Forest-Baar-Heuberg Region
The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of Baden-Württemberg has announced a funding call for a Contact Point Woman and Career in the Black Forest-Baar-Heuberg region. This initiative is part of the State Programme Contact Points Woman and Career, which has been in existence since 1994.
Based on the resolution of the Ministerial Council of 17 January 1994 on the "Concept for the Establishment of Contact Points Woman and Career", the State Programme aims to tap the potential of women's skilled workers and promote gender equality in the profession. The Contact Points Woman and Career serve as central points of contact for women in matters of entering, re-entering, career orientation, advancement, and entrepreneurship. They are also an important link between female skilled workers and the regional economy.
The demand for skilled workers in future industries remains high due to the transformation of the economy, digitalization, and the use of Artificial Intelligence. The Contact Points Woman and Career in Baden-Württemberg are considered important for meeting this demand.
Interested organizations can submit funding applications to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism by 30 September 2025. The funding period for the new Contact Point will be from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2027.
According to Minister of Economic Affairs and Labour Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, support offers for women, families, and companies are necessary due to the ongoing transformation of the economy, digitalization, and the use of Artificial Intelligence. The Contact Points Woman and Career offer reliable, low-threshold, and holistic counseling and information services for the successful professional integration and development of women. They are central points of contact for women in the areas of work, economy, equal opportunities, and integration.

However, information about who will take over the position of contact person for External: Women and Careers in the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg region starting in 2026 is not yet available.
The State Programme Contact Points Woman and Career supports and expands the securing of skilled workers of women for the economy, as well as promoting equal opportunities and integration into the labour market. It is a crucial step towards ensuring a skilled workforce for the future and promoting gender equality in the profession.
