In an effort to ensure road safety, the South-East Hesse Police Headquarters has announced that they will be enforcing speed limits at various locations next week.

Monitoring will occur at accident hotspots, noise protection areas, and high-risk roads. Here are the specific locations and dates:

  • On 20.01.2025, speed control points will be at A 66, Hanau towards Fulda, junction Bad Soden-Salmünster (noise protection) and A 45, Hanau towards Aschaffenburg, junction Seligenstadt (high-risk road).
  • On 21.01.2025, speed control points will be at A 66, Hanau towards Fulda, junction Bad Soden-Salmünster (noise protection).
  • On 22.01.2025, speed control points will be at A 66, Hanau towards Fulda, junction Bad Soden-Salmünster (noise protection) and K 854, Langenselbold towards Erlensee, end of construction (high-risk road).
  • On 24.01.2025, B 459, Dreieich towards Offenbach, before Geisfeld roundabout (accident hotspot) will be under surveillance.
  • On 25.01. and 26.01.2025, B 43 a, Hanau towards Dieburg, junction Hanau-Hafen (high-risk road) will be monitored.
  • On 23.01.2025, L 3268, Hanau, Maintaler Straße, towards Dornigheim (high-risk road) and L 3262, Zeppelinheim towards Buchschlag, between railway line and junction B 44 (wildlife) will also be under observation.
