Proposal for modifications to a Council Directive draft on harmonizing Member States' laws for worker safety against cancer-causing agents has been suggesting by the Commission.
The picturesque town of Tann is gearing up for an unforgettable fair from the 29th of August to the 1st of September, 2025. Here's a rundown of the exciting events and performances that await visitors.
The festivities kick off with an after-work party on Friday evening from 18:00. The town square will come alive with music and laughter as the local community gathers to mark the start of the fair.
On Saturday, Enrico Weider will take centre stage in the evening, getting the crowd dancing with his performance. The traditional three-row dance will also take place in the market square later in the afternoon.
Sunday promises to be a day filled with entertainment. The Duo Malibu will perform from 18:00, while the Ketten music club will entertain guests in the tent during the afternoon. The event around the town fountain will offer grilled and tapped treats starting at 13:00, and coffee and cake, as well as festival activities, will be available in the tent later in the day.
A church service will take place at 10:00 on Sunday during the fair, with a breakfast gathering following in the festival tent. The strong beer evening on Monday, featuring "MAGIC", will mark the fair finale.
In addition to the entertainment, an excavation and ceremonial tree planting will take place on August 16th, 2025, in Tann. More information about this event will be announced in due course.
Visitors can also look forward to Kreuzberg beer, stewed meat, and knuckle of pork being served during the strong beer evening on Monday. The RhΓΆn brass band "Blechmucke" will perform at the after-work party, adding to the festive atmosphere.
