Project management duties for the D21 digital index have been assumed by Rief.
Initiative D21, the organisation spearheading the D21-Digital-Index study, has announced a change in leadership. Starting from June, Simon Rief will assume the role of project leader, taking over from Roland Dathe who will be going on parental leave.
Simon Rief, currently a Project and Event Manager for the D21-Digital-Index study, brings a wealth of experience to his new position. Prior to this, he has contributed significantly to the digital transformation of Initiative D21's internal processes.
Rief's academic background is impressive, with a Master's degree in Film and Television Production from Potsdam and a Bachelor's degree in Television Production and Journalism from Munich. His extensive experience in events management, both in his previous role and his work as a theater manager at Yorck Kino in Berlin, will undoubtedly prove valuable in his new position.
Interestingly, Rief has not previously been mentioned as having any direct involvement in the D21-Digital-Index study before his current role as project leader. This promotion from Project and Event Manager to project leader is a testament to his dedication and competence.
Roland Dathe, the previous project leader for the D21-Digital-Index study, has been instrumental in the study's progress. His departure for parental leave will undoubtedly be a temporary setback, but with Rief at the helm, the study is in capable hands.
Dr. Sabine Hofmann will take over as the interim project leader during Dathe's leave. Hofmann's expertise will ensure a smooth transition and continuity of the study's progress.
The D21-Digital-Index study is a significant initiative aimed at understanding and measuring the digital transformation of the German economy. With Rief at the helm, it is poised to make significant strides in its mission.
