Target is embracing the new year with a fresh approach to home organization, launching its first-ever storage and home organization brand, Brightroom. The collection, which is available at Target locations, Target.com, and through the company's same-day services, offers over 450 products, with prices starting at just $1 and mostly under $25.

According to a Target press release, Brightroom is designed to be a solution for all storage problems. The collection includes under-sink storage, utility carts, and decorative storage, making it easy for consumers to refresh and organize their spaces. The packaging of Brightroom products includes callouts to show consumers how items work together, making shopping a breeze.

Target is tapping into consumers' desire for organization and refreshment at the start of the year. Samara Tuchband, senior vice president of merchandising, home at Target, stated, "The new year brings opportunities for new beginnings and organizing homes for the year ahead." Target already has ten private label brands worth $1 billion in its roster, and Brightroom is set to join this impressive lineup.

Meanwhile, Walmart has announced an exclusive collaboration with Marie Kondo for a home organization collection. The Home Edit collection at Walmart features products at an affordable price, ranging between $9.98 to $24.98. This collaboration is similar to Target's Brightroom collection in terms of affordability and product focus.

Bed Bath & Beyond has previously released a storage and organization brand called Squared Away. Last year, the company also announced the acquisition of Closet Works by The Container Store. The aim is to enhance The Container Store's custom closet offering.

With these new launches, both Target and Walmart are making organization accessible and affordable for consumers, offering a range of solutions to help declutter homes and bring a sense of order and peace.
