Donald Trump faces another critical prediction from author Stephen King, this time potentially striking a vulnerable chord in the president's ego.

President Stephen King delivers his most critical projection regarding Trump, possibly causing the most substantial blow to his ego yet.

In an interview with The Times, prolific author Stephen King compared the controversial legacy of former President Donald Trump to the iconic 1951 home run by baseball player Bobby Thomson. King, who is known for his social media activity, has frequently criticized Trump since he took office for a second term, posting various images and jibes directed at the former president.

King predicted that many people who voted for Trump may claim they did not in the future. He acknowledged that many of his readers might be Trump supporters, but expressed the importance of expressing his opinions clearly. King stated there has never been an organized boycott against him for his criticism of Trump.

King compared Trump's potential legacy to the historic home run by Bobby Thomson, asking the question, "Which side are you on?" in relation to his views on Trump. He highlighted that Trump's presidency is associated with rising autocratic tendencies and significant political and economic disruption, comparable by some experts to 1930s-style autocracy due to increasing inequality and government overreach.

King also called attention to the unpredictable foreign policy and disruptive trade practices of Trump's administration, which add to a complex legacy that includes both strongman leadership and destabilization of traditional norms in U.S. and global politics.

King further stated that many people who claim to have witnessed Thomson's home run were not actually present on the day, emphasizing the importance of fact-checking and truth in public discourse.

In the interview, King also acknowledged the significance of the 1951 home run by Bobby Thomson in baseball history, but the context of the Elon Musk vs Donald Trump feud was not mentioned. King has expressed his thoughts on Trump's legacy after he leaves office, but no new information about his social media activity or his views on Trump's legacy was provided.
