Predictions for the color options in the upcoming iPhone 17 series
The upcoming iPhone 17 series is causing quite a stir, with rumours swirling about the potential colour options for the new devices.
According to various leaks, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max could be available in a variety of shades, including black, white, and silver, as well as a dark blue shade that is rumoured to be a significant departure from any current options. There are also suggestions that the series might offer a bold new choice reminiscent of the Apple Watch Ultra, in the form of an Orange colour.
However, it seems that the iPhone 17 series may only offer four colour options instead of the usual five, as was the case with the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The current colours for the iPhone 16 include black, white, pink, teal (a blue-green), and ultramarine (blue).
One leak suggests that the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max could also be available in a Deep Blue shade, while another shows an image of five possible shades but labels the Orange shade as a Brown shade. There are also reports of a Sky Blue or Orange option, and MacWorld has even suggested that the iPhone 17 could also be available in steel gray and light blue.
Interestingly, it seems that the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max might have some overlap in colours with the iPhone 16, as both are rumoured to be available in black, white or silver, and gray. However, it is also possible that the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max might have their own unique colour selection separate from the other models in the series.
It is also worth noting that the iPhone 17 Air might have its own unique colour selection separate from the other models in the series. A newer leak even suggests that the iPhone 17 could also be available in purple.
Despite all the rumours and speculation, the exact colours of the iPhone 17 series will not be known until Apple unveils the phones on September 9. So, for now, we can only wait and see what Apple has in store for us.
