Investigation Launched Over Potential Political Assault in Ulm - State Security Probing Alleged Incident - Potential Political Incident in Ulm

In the quiet town of Ulm, Germany, an unusual incident took place at a local company early this morning. According to reports from the Southwest Press, the Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office (LKA) confirmed an attack involving paint bombs and smoke grenades at the Israeli defense company Elbit.

The suspects, who have yet to be identified, did not resist during their arrest. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The State Protection and anti-terrorism center are currently investigating the attack, with a suspected political motive at its heart.

Investigators believe the activist group behind the attack could be "Palestine Action," a group considered a banned terrorist organization in the UK and known for its anti-Israel activism. The activists are said to have demanded the closure of all German sites of the Israeli arms manufacturer.

It is alleged that the suspects sprayed a graffiti with suspected political content on the parking lot of the targeted company. The LKA is examining connections to other past cases and is taking over the investigation if there is a political background.

The most recent protest involving around 30 activists occurred in early August. It is not the first time Elbit Systems' Ulm production site has been the target of protests.

Despite attempts to contact the company for a statement, Elbit was initially not available for a request. The LKA is further investigating the incident and the police, alerted by the security service, surrounded the building, leading to the arrest of the suspects on an upper floor. Some suspects also managed to enter the building and smashed windows.

The State Protection and anti-terrorism center continue to investigate the incident alongside the LKA, ensuring that justice is served and peace is maintained in the community.
