Polish authorities streamline their public relations divisions

As of September 1, 2025, the Police Headquarters Neubrandenburg is reorganizing its press offices. This move aims to improve cooperation with media representatives and meet increased demands for information.

The reorganization will see the press offices of the Police Inspectorates Anklam, Neubrandenburg, and Stralsund joining forces with the press office of the Police Headquarters Neubrandenburg. The press work will be centralized in a digital workspace, providing a uniform and clear information source for journalists and interested users.

Existing contact options for the media remain unchanged, with media representatives still able to contact their usual points of contact in the individual press offices. However, the Police Headquarters Neubrandenburg will also add registered media to the new overall distribution list to continue receiving information such as media invitations.

For media communications and public inquiries at the Polizeiinspektion Anklam, Franziska Höhne can be contacted. She is the press officer responsible for media communications and public inquiries, and can be reached at the police press office at Anklam via phone number 03971 251 3041 or email [email protected]. Her contact details are also available on the police website at http://www.polizei.mvnet.de.

The duty control center remains reachable for media outside of office hours, as usual. Journalists can now access new press releases from all press offices via the central account of the Police Headquarters Neubrandenburg on the press portal, which can be found at https://www.presseportal.de/blaulicht/nr/108747. All press spokeswomen of the Police Headquarters Neubrandenburg are available for inquiries.

The reorganization is transmitted via news aktuell by the Police Inspectorate Anklam, which is the source of this information. The move is intended to streamline communication, improve access to information, and strengthen the relationship between the police and the media.
