Break-in and Theft at Frechen-Königsdorf Store

A break-in and theft occurred at a store on Aachener Straße in Frechen-Königsdorf early on Wednesday, June 25th. According to the Rhein-Erft Police Department, the suspects broke into the store around 2 a.m. and made off with a large white bag containing cigarettes.

The suspects were described as follows: one of them is approximately 185 cm tall, athletic, with dark eyes, wearing black clothing, and covering his face and head with a cloth. He was also carrying a light-colored baseball bat. The other details about the suspects and the stolen items are still being investigated.

Upon arrival at the scene, police officers secured the area, and emergency services attended to an alert witness who was threatened and kicked by one of the suspects with a baseball bat. Other officers documented the incident and gathered evidence.
