Police from the federal department are on a mission to find the owner of a bike that was reported stolen, specifically a lady bike, in BPOL-KI.

Police on a federal level are in pursuit of the individual who allegedly stole a woman's bicycle, identified as BPOL-KI.

The Federal Police Directorate Bad Bramstedt, operating in Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and the North and Baltic Seas, is currently investigating a case of a missing ladies' bicycle.

On August 6, 2025, a man was observed riding a ladies' bicycle near Lübeck railway station. However, the bicycle has since gone missing, and its rightful owner remains unknown.

The man was approached by the Federal Police, but he could not provide proof of ownership for the bicycle. Moreover, the frame number of the bicycle could not be clearly read, making it difficult to identify its owner.

Consequently, the Federal Police Inspectorate Kiel is appealing for any information that could help identify the owner of the bicycle. If the bicycle belongs to someone, they are encouraged to contact the Federal Police Inspectorate Kiel. Contact details have been provided below:

  • Katharina Wala (Telephone: 0431/ 980 71 - 118)

The Directorate, consisting of several Federal Police Inspectorates and a Mobile Control and Surveillance Unit, performs various tasks as specified by law. These include border police, railway police, maritime police, and environmental police tasks. The Directorate's mission is to protect the federal territory.

For more information about the missing bicycle case, please refer to the previous bullet points. The official website for the Federal Police and the Federal Police Directorate Bad Bramstedt is www.bundespolizei.de.

It is important to note that there is a suspicion that the bicycle might have been stolen due to the lack of proof of ownership and the unreadable frame number. However, this is still under investigation.

The Federal Police Directorate Bad Bramstedt also has a maritime component, "Federal Police Sea", to monitor the sea border in the North and Baltic Seas.

The search results do not provide any information about the owner of the stolen ladies' bicycle at this time. The Federal Police Inspectorate Kiel continues to ask for any information that could help identify the owner of the missing bicycle.
