Police official Ingo Brohl, a local councilman, appoints a new head for Dinslaken's police station.

In a press release issued by the Circular Police Department Wesel, it has been announced that Frank Marienfeldt has taken over as the head of the East Police Station in Dinslaken. The East District, which Marienfeldt now leads, includes the cities and communities of Dinslaken, Voerde, Hünxe, and Schermbeck.

Frank Marienfeldt, who began his career with the Federal Border Guard in 1983, has a long-standing and extensive career within the Wesel Circular Police Department. Prior to leading the Dinslaken police station, he served in various roles in Dinslaken and the Wesel control center. Marienfeldt was previously the First Police Chief Commissioner before being appointed to his current position.

County Commissioner Ingo Brohl introduced Marienfeldt as the new head of the East Police Station on August 19, 2025. In his new role, Marienfeldt is the regional point of contact for all police matters in the East District, according to Wolfgang Tühl, Director of the Hazard Control/Emergency Response Division.

Marienfeldt completed his studies for the higher police service in 1997 and has shown a commendable dedication to his work throughout his career. He initially served in Moers before joining the Dinslaken police station.

In his private life, Marienfeldt is married and has two adult children. When he's not working, he enjoys building model trains.
