In a series of unfortunate events, two separate incidents occurred in the town of Hesse, Germany, over the weekend of April 26-27, 2025.

The first incident took place on Saturday, April 26, at 19:10 Uhr in Niedernhausen, 65527. Two police officers were severely injured during an arrest on Am Deußtal street. The details surrounding the incident are still under investigation, but it's known that a 32-year-old local resident resisted arrest by striking, kicking, biting, and spitting at officers. As a result, the man now faces multiple charges, including resisting arrest, dangerous bodily harm, bodily harm, and insult.

The second incident occurred on Sunday, April 27, at 03:25 Uhr. This time in Idstein, 65510, at In der Eisenbach 30. Unfortunately, there is no information available about a person injured in this hit-and-run incident.

The previous day, on Saturday, April 26, at 18:47 Uhr, a motorcycle rider was severely injured in a collision on the B54 near Hettenhain, 65307 Bad Schwalbach. The rider, a 30-year-old from Taunusstein, had to be airlifted to a hospital after initial treatment by emergency services. The collision was caused by a driver failing to yield right of way while merging onto the B54.

The Bad Schwalbach police station is currently investigating the accident and has asked for potential witnesses to call (06124) 7078 0. The 83-year-old driver of an Opel Crossland and his passengers sustained minor injuries in the collision.

These incidents serve as a reminder of the importance of road safety and respect for law enforcement officers. Both investigations are ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
