In a series of events across Germany over the weekend, authorities reported several incidents involving traffic violations, armed robberies, and driving under the influence (DUI) cases.
On Friday evening, a 38-year-old was found to be under the influence during a traffic control in Tönnhäuser Weg. Proceedings were initiated against the driver, and their driving was prohibited.

The recent armed robberies on gas stations involved a male and female criminal pair, who threatened cashiers with weapons and fled with money. Police suspect a connection to earlier similar robberies with the same modus operandi, including wearing surgical masks.
In a related incident, a masked male robber threatened gas station staff with a knife, fled with money, and later during a police foot chase, seized a police officer's service weapon, fatally shot the officer, and was himself seriously injured and hospitalized.
In other news, a reckless Porsche was reported, which collided with a road barrier and threw debris. The Porsche was stopped at the Danish border by Danish police. The driver had a blood alcohol level of 1.28, and several criminal charges were filed.
In Buchholz i.d.N., a driver was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicating substances.
In Hollenstedt, a suspect was arrested after the theft of a small van and a subsequent bike theft.
