Police in North Swabia are currently investigating a fire incident

The early hours of August 27, 2025, saw a significant incident at the Bavaria Police Headquarters North in Augsburg, as a fire broke out in a company building located on Bahnhofsstraße, Dinkelscherben. The fire was reported by a resident, who promptly alerted emergency services.

The fire department was quick to respond and managed to extinguish the fire. As of the current report, no injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.

The Augsburg Criminal Police have taken the lead in investigating the cause of the fire. Marek, a police spokesman, is leading the police investigation, while Markus Konrad serves as the fire department's on-site incident commander.

The investigation is ongoing, and the results are not yet known. The Augsburg Criminal Police are working diligently to gather evidence and interview witnesses in relation to the fire. Their aim is to determine the exact cause of the fire that occurred on August 27, 2025, at approximately 3:30 AM.

In addition to determining the cause, the investigations will also cover the extent of the damage caused by the fire. The investigations will aim to assess the full extent of the damage caused to the Bavaria Police Headquarters North.
