Police halt illicit automobile speed competitions in Bremerhaven
Bremerhaven Police Seize High-Performance Vehicles Involved in Alleged Illegal Street Racing
On the night of September 1, Bremerhaven Police seized two high-performance vehicles, a VW Phaeton and a Mercedes E-model, following an alleged illegal street racing incident on Langener Landstraße.
The incident took place around 1:15 AM, with the cars moving northbound towards Cherbourger Straße. The vehicles were driving diagonally offset with a few meters between them and at excessive speeds.
The police pursued the speeders and caught up to them at a red light, where they found that the engines and brakes of both vehicles were severely overheated.
