The Oberbergisch district is set to welcome 38 young individuals who will begin a dual study program with the police in North Rhine-Westphalia on September 1st. The first meeting for the selected individuals took place at the district police headquarters in Oberbergisch on August 14th.

Recruitment advisor Nicole Cescotti-Sohns provided initial information to the group, followed by addresses and question-answer sessions from police officers Lia Denni and Nico Kube, currently in their practical module at Gummersbach police station. The meeting was organized for information exchange and was attended by 20 of the selected individuals.

During the meeting, the group gathered to learn more about the program and its specifics, but no information about the course of study or focus areas was provided. For now, the aspiring students will be focusing on theory, with the first practical module scheduled to take place at the district police headquarters in Oberbergisch next summer.

The sources for more information about joining the program are available online, although the trainers supporting the students during their first practical module have not been explicitly named.

As the start date of the program approaches, these young individuals are eager to embark on this exciting journey, ready to learn and contribute to the police force in North Rhine-Westphalia.
