Police from the Federal level in North Rhine-Westphalia (BPOL NRW) successfully subdued an agitated female suspect.
A German citizen found herself in a confrontation with Federal Police officers at Bochum Central Station on September 1st, after attempting to escape from the custody cell.
According to reports, the individual, whose identity has not been disclosed, boarded the RE 6 train from Dortmund Central Station without a valid ticket around 8:30 PM. She was uncooperative with the officers and refused to leave the train, leading to a series of altercations.
During the processing in the custody cell, the individual tried to rush out and had to be stopped by the officers again. The officers found a switchblade and a small amount of ecstasy in the individual's pocket during the search at the Federal Police station. The individual offered significant resistance before being apprehended and also insulted the law enforcement officers. As a result, she will have to answer charges of assaulting and resisting law enforcement officers, fraudulently obtaining services, violating weapons and narcotics laws, and insulting law enforcement officers.
The individual expressed a desire for psychiatric treatment and was subsequently taken to a psychiatric hospital by paramedics.
