Police Encounters: Resistance towards Law Enforcement Officers Following Alleged Drunk Driving Incident in Baden-Baden

In the quiet town of Baden-Baden, a disturbing incident unfolded on Saturday evening. A 44-year-old driver found themselves in trouble with the law after a suspected drunk driving incident.

The incident began when the driver, whose name is not publicly available, was reported for driving under the influence. Upon arrival at the scene, police found the driver's vehicle crashed into a wall in the courtyard of their property.

Upon inspection, a strong smell of alcohol was detected on the driver. A breathalyzer test revealed a reading of over 1.4 per mille, confirming the suspicion.

The driver, however, resisted arrest. This led to the use of pepper spray by the police. The driver has since been charged with "drunk driving" and "resisting enforcement officers".

A blood test has been ordered for the driver to confirm the initial breathalyzer results. The police have also checked the residence of the vehicle owner in response to the report.
